A Riverside Proposal


This is a proposal that I just couldn't wait for! When Tyler called me and told me about his plans to propose to Abby, I could hardly contain my excitement for her! Abby has been my best friend since intermediate school, when we began playing volleyball together during lunch. Since then, she, my sister, and I have been an inseparable trio.


On proposal day, I met Tyler an hour before Abby arrived at the river to help him make everything perfect for their moment. He had every detail planned, bringing wagon-fulls of pumpkins, hay, flowers, and a blanket down to the bank of the river. It was the perfect secluded spot for him to pop the question!


I hid in the woods in a ghillie suit so I would go unnoticed when they made they their way to the setup.

She said yes!


I felt so blessed to have been there to capture this moment for them. Abby's sister joined us at the river, and there were of course lots of hugs and calls to family!

After some celebrations, we jumped into a few engagement photos! This was such a gorgeous location, and the fall colors were definitely showing off for their shoot. I can't wait to capture their wedding in November!
