Jake and Bella's Coastal Engagement


There's something so special about getting to document a moment that someone has been waiting a lifetime for. I was even more honored that I was asked to fly to South Carolina to capture that moment at Palmetto Bluff. This small community in S.C. is one that Bella has fallen in love with, so Jake knew there was no better place to pop the question.


So much planning went into making this a reality. From checking flight times to avoid running into Bella at the airport, to scoping out the May River Chapel the day before, to arriving 45 minutes early on the big day, just to make sure my disguise and hiding spot were perfect- everything fell into place.


Of course Bella said yes!


It was such a wonderful moment filled with so much love as Jake and Bella's families rushed over to congratulate them. We wandered the grounds, taking advantage of the gorgeous scenery and creating an engagement photo gallery that I only could've dreamed of. Even the dolphins off the dock surfaced to celebrate these two!


This day also gave me a new love of traveling to document moments like these! I can't wait for many more of life's big moments in the most beautiful places.
